Akheera was born in early January. Her family consisted of just herself, her mom, and her father. Since she was young, she was always fascinated with technology and games which allowed her to be good at tinkering with inside systems.
She got into playing retro games first because her parents still had their old Atari 2700 and Nintendo Entertainment System. Akheera was so engrossed in them that when she was able to have the means to, she would play all the games she could get her hands on.
Akheera had also discovered anime when she was young which drew her into that world, so much so that she cosplays for the fun of it. She does not have any specific series she enjoys more but she would watch whatever anime she has access to and read all manga as well.
Ajax has always been fascinated by the world of coding but was never too interested in the technology world in general has he figured he does not need to know of the technology itself if all he needs to do is code what he is asked to code. What fascinated him about code is how something he can write can apply in an application, especially when he works with AIs. He started programming when he was a teenager when he was bored with what was happening in a class he was in.
He is not the nerdy looking kind of guy so when people find out he is a programmer, they question if he really is who he says he does for a living.
Ajax works for a big well known tech firm, but he does not talk about it since he does not believe it is anything special and downplays it when anyone asks what he does for a living by simply saying he is a programmer. Although he thinks what he does is no big deal he was the main lead and worked on major platforms while helping multiple times with debugging codes that went into triple A titles. He is unaware of this due to him just seeing the code and not looking at the whole thing.
From an outsider’s point of view, he looks like the kind of guy who would eat you for breakfast in a cool sort of way but, he would rather work on his projects. He does clean up when he must go meet up with clients but otherwise, he just likes to be casual and let himself go.
Akheera and Ajax had known each other since they were young. In Akheera’s case, she knew Ajax for her whole life since Ajax was there when she came to the world. They were together since a young age because of their parents being close friends since middle school.
Because of how close Akheera and Ajax are to each other they are often mistaken as siblings or being a couple. When they are mistaken as being siblings, they do not correct it because to them they might as well be siblings.
Akheera has a habit of roping Ajax into playing games that he does not enjoy (FPS, RTS, etc.) with her but Ajax allows it since he does feel happy seeing his childhood friend enjoying something that she, really enjoys.
Although Ajax always looks serious and focused without caring about other people, he tends to soften up when he’s around Akheera while keeping a watchful eye on her for her sake.
Ajax is usually all serious and focused on work, but he can’t help but tease Akheera about her height. Considering there’s a height difference of 46 cm., Ajax finds it amusing to see a short girl getting all angry when playing games and get even more angry when Ajax teases her.
Likewise, Akheera always pokes and prods at Ajax for not being good at games thinking that all programmers should be good at games, and such will always rub her winnings in his face. Ajax takes it in stride since he enjoys seeing Akheera happy.
